This was our first visit wont be the last. Scallops and seabass were PERFECTION ! Eilyn was our sever she was amazing!

We had an amazing time. Our waiter was so friendly and prompt (I wish I remembered his name. ) We came in a Thursday night which was perfect to avoid the crowds. I was able to make a reservation and sit by the window. The bread was excellent it comes with salted butter and served warm. My sister said her long island was the best she's ever had. Our steaks were cooked well done as requested and still juicy and flavorful. Everything is essentially Ala carte although you do get a little bit of garlic potatoes as a garnish with your steak and a choice of soup or salad. We will definitely come again. Oh and my waiter made me a cappuccino himself and added flavor since I like a little sweetness to mine and I appreciated that very much.

My mom and I had an incredible time dining outside for Happy Hour! The view is stunning, one of the best in Washington. Our drinks were both amazing, we had the prickly pear cocktail and the Paloma. And for food shared the Razor Clams, I will definitely be coming back for those!

Celebrated my birthday here in the bar area. Heaters and flames added to the beauty and ambience and comfort. Lovely city views. Friday night DJ played some good music and took my song request. Everyone was so friendly and we danced The night away.

celebrated my birthday and anniversary here and brought my 3 year old too! what we ordered: 1. kids cheeseburger w/ fries: 8/10– brioche bun was delicious, buttery, crispy edges and soft buns. cheese was melted and the burger were cooked perfectly. fries were also good. wish it came with a fry sauce. the option to have lettuce and tomatoes would have made it a 10/10. 2. baked brie starter: 7/10 bc the phyllo dough was burnt on some parts, otherwise it was yummy but i wouldn’t get it again. if it came with more fruit i would get it again. 3. slahal salad: 6/10, it was good but it was mostly arugula. i wish it came with more of the toppings! it lacked the bleu cheese crumbles, candied walnuts and the bacon lardon. it is a HUGE portion though. i def only ate 1/4th of it. 4. chilean sea bass: 8/10– so good but by the time this came out i was full. i would get it again. it was cooked perfectly and i loved the crispy taro on top. 5. my husband got the rib eye: 9/10, he got it medium and it was cooked perfectly. it came with a salad, he chose caesar and it was a 8/10. i tried the steak and the veggies it came with and the veggies were yummy, acidic, salty, not mushy. 6. crispy brussel sprouts: 9/10 crunchy, salty, acidic and just delightful. would get this again. 7. garlic mashed potatoes 5/10: could’ve done without this. it’s a huge portion and was not seasoned. wish it had more garlic. 8. free desserts for my bday that were meh 3/10, i feel like they were just random frozen petit fours from costco. they made it cool by adding a dry ice bath in the middle to create a “smoky” dish. however i had a bite of each one and they were all stale. they also put each dessert on top of a huge amount of mango & berry sauce which overpowered each dessert so maybe that’s why i didn’t really taste anything but that, overall it was meh. 9. also the free bread basket that was warm with the salted butter was absolutely delicious. i almost asked for another serving to take home.

What an Amazing experience! Slahal was Great, and exceeded all expectations, mainly due to Eilyn M our server. As well, the food and the views were Amazing! I drove 30 minutes for a birthday dinner, and it was So worth the trip. Everything ordered at our table of 8 came out perfect. Even those that wanted to complain, couldn’t find a reason to do so! From appetizers, to the salads, to the entrance, to dessert! The food was delicious, the service was Top Notch, and the views are breathtaking! I can’t wait to go back!

Slahal Steakhouse is the restaurant on the 11th floor of the EQC Hotel, next to the casino. You can park in a few spots to get here, so it's relatively easy to get to, although the elevator up only works once the restaurant is open. There is probably 3 dozen tables inside with a smaller bar and an outside area meant only for drinks and views, with some heaters in there. Bathrooms are small here. The menu isn't too big but they do steaks very well. Some of the sides were amazing, like the grilled asparagus, garlic smash potato, crispy brussel sprouts, and sauteed artichoke hearts. As for main dishes, the 12oz prime rib eye is probably their best steak, with filet mignon close behind. The dry aged tomahawk is a really cool presentation but it's a lot cheaper than it should be, taking away from the experience. The staff are good here, but we got paired with a pretty slow server so some other groups we were with at other tables finished almost an hour before us. The server was still great in explaining and helping but I just wish they had paid more attention to the flow of things. Prices here are expensive because of the quality of their food, and some of the portions are good for what you get. Overall it's a great experience here but you should make reservations at least a few days before.

Outstanding! The service was over the top as well as the food! Dinner at this place quickly became one of my favorite memories. From drinks to appetizers then meals everything was timed perfectly. Presentation was top notch and food was so delicious!
